PROGRAM/DEPARTMENT SUMMARY: Profiling, Intention survey Coordinator is responsible for leading the field staff to coordinating and overseeing the implementation of profiling and intention surveys related to durable solutions for displaced populations, and to work with the program department to reach the activity target.

GENERAL JOB SUMMARY: The Profiling, Intention survey Coordinator is to carry out fieldwork in order to mobilize assistance to communities, monitor project activities and provide support to project management and other team members for the effective and efficient implementation of the project’s activities. He/she is responsible for the integrity of the SHS's system also responsible of data collection, monitoring performance on the field level as well as reporting of activities.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: 

  1. Form community committees, beneficiary selection and registration, preparing beneficiary database, and verification of beneficiaries. 
  2. Train and supervise survey enumerators, providing guidance and support throughout the data collection process to maintain data quality and consistency. 
  3. Works collaboratively with team members with different backgrounds and perspectives.
  4. Monitor and evaluate the progress of profiling and intention surveys, identifying challenges and proposing solutions after reaching the donor to ensure timely and accurate data collection.
  5. Initiate and manage the beneficiary registration and verification processes.
  6. Liaising and communicating with team members and other staff.
  7. Developing and maintaining internal survey policies and procedures.
  8. Coordinating with the Site management prior any field to ensure a proper assessment criterion as per the project guidelines.
  9. Continuous follow-up with the field team to ensure there's no challenges during the assessment period.
  10. Managing deadlines and progress across the team to ensure the project is delivered on time and on budget.
  11. Provide support and participate in the monitoring activities schedule by the M&E team including data collection, updating the database and report writing and conducting post monitoring visits to project implementation sites.
  12. Liaise with local community representatives and stakeholders to promote the project mission and activities and overcome any obstacles or issue that may arise in the field.
  13. Attend different field meetings when required and provide detailed reports to the Program Unit.
  14. Prepare monthly plan, project reports and distribution plans and reports and submit a monthly report on all projects activities to project manager/coordinator.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY: Responsible for mobilizing the team on field to improve performance and keep track of new beneficiaries who are in need of humanitarian Aid and refer them to the program.

ACCOUNTABILITY:

REPORTS DIRECTLY TO: Senior Shelter/CCCM Officer

WORKS DIRECTLY WITH: Enumerators, Data Management, MEAL Team.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE: 

  • Reporting and speaking in English is the most important requirement .
  • At least two years' experience in field humanitarian work.
  • A relevant degree, ideally in an analytical or quantitative field, along with relevant experience after graduation, or a comparable set of training, education, and/or experience.
  • Extensive survey-related expertise and specialized understanding.
  • Excellent organizational abilities with the capacity to set priorities for tasks, balance conflicting tasks in order to achieve deadlines.
  • Recent experience in the analysis and management of surveys, and descriptive and inferential statistics. 
  • High-level skills in the interpretation and analysis of quantitative and qualitative data.
  • Proven high-level written and oral communication skills.
  • Previous experience working in NGO's.
  • Ability and willingness to frequently travel among different districts.
  • Professional knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (MS Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint…etc.).
  • Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills, creativity and flexibility.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
